we went to busan wednesday--this is the harbor. last time i was there i saw a bunch of rats, but this time i just saw elliot

we went to kyungju friday. there are massive burial mounds called tumulis, where the top dogs were buried with their loot

this is about a month old, from aunt's party in seoul. elliot, my college friend visiting from japan, thinks a good caption for this is "chick magnet." he says, "please don't write that. i'm sort of embarrassed that came out of my mouth."

with jon on vacation in japan, i visited seongnamsa temple with catherine; we got bored and continued to busan for indian food, and after dinner we found a celebration on haeundae beach

it's funny if you think of buddha cajoling jesus and zeus and everyone to cover his body with sand
